Berwickshire’s Agricultural Association was founded in 1885, and last year organised its 135th annual show. The charitable aims of the Association incorporate the advancement of Agriculture, the improvement of Stock, the encouragement of those arts with which Agriculture, Industry and the rearing of stock are associated, and the promotion of the Agricultural, Manufacturing and Pastoral interests generally. The means to be employed for these ends shall include the holding of an Annual Show, or any other measures calculated to advance the interests of Agriculture and Industry, and the consideration and discussion of any matter associated with the above subjects.

Under this guidance the Association continues to hold a traditional Annual Agricultural Show based in the grounds of Duns Castle Estate on the outskirts of Duns, Berwickshire, Scottish Borders, run by the Berwickshire Agricultural Association, under charity number: SCO16316.

Berwickshire County Show incorporates an agricultural livestock show along with family entertainment, horse events, poultry show, vintage display and dog show, created on a beautiful site next to Duns Castle. There is literally something for all ages, based around community groups and entertainment from farther afield. It is truly a family outing, with a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere!
